The moment we have been waiting for months has finally come!

The NBA's regular season has officially started on October 22. Now, we're 13 games in, and this is what happened:

๐Ÿ‘‘ Another record for the KING

For the first time in NBA history, a father-son duo has played in an NBA game together. And of course it was LeBron with his son Bronny.

Iโ€™m mean, who else would set up this ridiculous record if not LeBron?

๐Ÿ‘Š Embiid vs. Media  

After announcing that he would not play any back-to-back games before the season even started, Embiid received even more criticism.

Following that comment and an article about Embiid, things escalated between Embiid and the media, resulting in a three-game suspension for former MVP. (Not really a punishment for Embiid ๐Ÿ˜‰)

โญ๏ธ MVP Race (Top 3) 

The MVP race is on! As always, it's a close race.

Anthony Davis had a tremendous start to the season, racking up enormous numbers and shocking NBA fans. Is this the best ad we've seen so far? He leads the league in scoring while also showing that his defense has not decreased.

Jason Tatum took it personally. With him not winning the Finals MVP Award and not playing much at the Olympics, we all knew what to expect and got it. Tatum went absolutely crazy in the first couple of games and has two goals: Championship and MVP.

Nikola Jokic, the three-time MVP, had a tough start to the season. Aside from that, nothing has changed. The Joker is on a demolition tour, averaging a triple-double and attempting to raise the Nuggets' ranking in the standings.

๐ŸŽฏ Cavs on a mission  

The Cavaliers had an incredible start to the season. With a 13-0 run, they are leading the east before the Celtics. What a start for an underdog team! ๐Ÿ‘€ 

๐Ÿ†๏ธ Emirates NBA Cup  

The season has hardly begun, and the Emirates NBA Cup is already going on.

The Emirates NBA Cup is an in-season tournament in which 30 teams are randomly assigned to groups of five within their conference.

The eight best teams from these groups proceed to the knockout stage with single elimination games: Quarterfinals > Semifinals > Championship

We've been putting in reps and are finally seeing some results. ๐Ÿ˜Ž 

Here is what happened behind closed curtains at BBB:

Three weeks ago, we were still searching for the right person to talk to... 
Now, three weeks later, we have already been in talks with the city of Lucerne, and guess what? BBB will offer a free Basketball camp during the summer holidays in 2025. ๐ŸŽ‰

Our first giveaway was a real success. Kasimir, aka Cash Money, received a limited BBB T-shirt and hasnโ€™t changed his clothing since. However, the T-shirt isnโ€™t the only thing we were able to bring out.

Weโ€™re thrilled to announce that weโ€™ve created a bunch of new BBB stickers!!! ๐ŸŒ๏ธ 

โ™ป๏ธ Circular Waste Management

We have been collecting sports materials left behind by clubs and associations after major events. The materials will either be repurposed for our Free Training Project or stored at our BBB Warehouse, aka the garage of Benji's parents. ๐Ÿ“ฆ๏ธ

๐Ÿ€ Drill Of The Month ๐Ÿ€

We all share the same dream: to dunk the basketball.

What if I told you we could make your dream a reality?

Here is our BBB vertical jump training plan that will let you fly like Ja Morant:

Warm-Up

  • Warm up with five minutes of rope skipping.

  • Do some dynamic stretching to prepare for intense and high-loaded exercises, as well as to prevent injuries.

  • Practice jumping mechanics (approach, penultimate step, horizontal to vertical force translation, and landing) for at least 3 minutes. (YouTube)

Workout:

  • Jump as high as possible (try to reach something like a leaf of a tree) | 3 sets of 4 reps

  • Do alternating lunge jumps for height | 3 sets of 7 reps (per leg)

  • Single leg hip thrust | 3 sets of 8 reps (per leg)

  • Calf raises | 3 sets of 30 reps

Try to do each exercise with good quality and as quickly as possible. Why? We want to increase our force in order to jump higher.
