The Oklahoma City Thunder have emerged as the Western Conference powerhouse behind MVP frontrunner Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who recently dropped 50+ points in three consecutive Wednesday games. Their elite defense has established them as a legitimate title threat.

The Challengers

The surprising Cleveland Cavaliers lead the Eastern Conference with remarkable consistency. Tonight's matchup against the Celtics could preview the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Lakers made history with the LeBron-Bronny father-son duo, then shocked the basketball world by trading for Luka Dončić mid-season in an unprecedented move involving two reigning All-NBA players.

It’s official! This summer we'll be hosting a free basketball camp for kids 😎

• 📍 Location: Lucerne

• 💵 Cost: $0 - because basketball should be open to everyone!

🏀 Drill Of The Month 🏀

Getting left behind on fast breaks? Not anymore!

This month’s drill is a sprint workout designed to make you the fastest player on the court. 🚀🔥

Warm-Up

• Warm up with five minutes of rope skipping.

• Do some dynamic stretching to prepare for intense and high-loaded exercises, as well as to prevent injuries.

Workout:

• Ankle hops (forwards, backwards, sideways) | 20 reps each

• Jogging | 2× 20m

• Running backwards | 2× 20m

• Defensive slides | 2× 20m per side

• High knees | 2× 20m

• Butt kicks | 2× 20m

• Skipping | 2× 20m

• A Skips | 2× 20m

• B Skips | 2× 20m

• Strides | 2× 40m

• Acceleration Sprints | 2× 40m

• Explosive Starts | 2× 10m & 2× 20m

• Sprints | 4× 40m

Try to do each exercise with good quality and as controlled as possible. Furthermore, take as much rest as you need!

Cool down:

• Cool down with some walking, grounding, and static stretching.

• Recovery meals with carbs and lots of protein.

Train consistently, and soon, you’ll be leaving defenders in the dust! 🚀🏀
